The Joey Kay Memorial Race is more than a weekend at the track — it is a celebration of Joey’s passion for racing, his generosity, and the community he helped bring together. What began as a way to honor his life has grown into a meaningful event that reflects the heart of dirt track racing and the values Joey lived by: passion, connection, and giving back.

This race brings together drivers, fans, sponsors, family & friends with a shared purpose. Through the mission of the JK12 Foundation, the event continues to turn remembrance into action by supporting others and making a lasting impact beyond the track. It stands as a reminder of the power of community and the difference that can be made when people come together in Joey’s name.
JK12 Foundation's First Donation
With the incredible support of our 2025 race sponsors, everyone who bought a t-shirt and all who donated, the JK12 Foundation was able to make it's very first donation.

Together, we were able to donate $5,000 to NOVA (Network of Victim Assistance), an organization that provided critical support to Joey’s family and loved ones during an incredibly difficult time. What began as a memorial has grown into something meaningful and lasting, made possible by a community that continues to show up with generosity, compassion, and love. We are honored to give back in Joey’s name and invite you to learn more about NOVA and the important work they do.
